John Reynolds


John is an original member of New York’s UCB weekend team, “Reuben Williams.” He recently finished overseeing a team of writers on comedy promo bits for television and online for the MTV Movie Awards hosted by Conan O’Brien where he wrote sketches for Conan, Adam Sandler, Cameron Diaz and Ellen Page among others.

Reynolds was a staff writer and performer for six years on the Peabody award-winning “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS where his monologue jokes often made the weekly “best of late night” lists.

In addition he wrote and produced many sketches for the show, creating new characters for Craig as well as writing material for the likes of Steve Martin, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Lennon, Jim Parsons, Jeffrey Tambor, Henry Winkler, Mary Steenburgen, Dave Foley and author, Salman Rushdie.
He also wrote for Craig’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner.

Other recent projects include head writer on Animal Planet’s “Li’l Bub’s Special Special” starring Amy Sedaris, a pilot for FOX starring Craig Robinson and Kevin Smith in addition to developing and producing a comedy daytime talk show for NBC Universal.  

John has developed pilots and various other projects over the past few years with CBS, NBC, Gary Sanchez, Conaco, History Channel and the Disney Channel.
John wrote the screenplay “Killer Rebound Guy” with Katie Dippold (“The Heat”) which has been in development at Broadway Video.
